Smoking Violation

The City of Albany has a Clean Indoor Air ordinance that governs smoking in public places. 

 

Smoking is prohibited in all public places and places of employment within the city except in bars, hotel and motel rooms rented to guests, except for those rooms designated by such hotels and motels as no smoking rooms, retail tobacco stores, designated smoking area in a restaurant or place of employment (except that no designated area shall be permitted in any health care or child care facility), or places of employment occupied exclusively by smokers and which is not subject to public access in the ordinary course of business.
