HPC approval through a Certificate of Appropriateness must be received before making changes in the appearance of property located in the historic district. Changes include: demolition/relocation; rehabilitation, additions or new construction to structures, walls, fences, steps or landscape. Routine maintenance requires an administrative approval rather than a Certificate of Appropriateness.
