Albany Police Department Expungement
If you would like to apply for an Expungement that involved City Police charges, the first step is to obtain a copy of the three page form from the Albany Police Department. Second, complete the first page and return form to the police department (attach any documentation you may have regarding the outcome of the case). There is a non-refundable fee required in the amount of $15.00 (additional fees may be imposed based on multiple charges to be expunged). Please allow six to eight weeks to complete. A copy of the request will be mailed to you when completed. . In addition to the $15.00 non-refundable fee, as of August 1, 2009, GCIC requires a non-refundable fee of $25.00 from the applicant to process the form. Each Request Form may contain only one (1) Date of Arrest.
