Dougherty County Police Department Expungement
If you would like to apply for an Expungement that involved County Police charges, the first step is to obtain a copy of the three page form from the Dougherty County Police Department. Second, complete the first page and return form to the police department (attach any documentation you may have regarding the outcome of the case). There is a non-refundable fee required in the amount of $25.00 per arrest date if charges occurred before July 1, 2013. If charges occurred after July 1, 2013 contact the DA Office at 229-431-3233. Once completed, they will forward the completed application back to Dougherty County Police. If APPROVED, the original application will be mailed to address listed on page one, so that the applicant can mail the application to GCIC with their required $25 fee. Please allow six to eight weeks to complete.
