Law Library
The Law Library is available for both attorneys and the public. It's located @ 225 Pine Avenue, 2nd Floor, Room 212. Telephone 229-302-3295. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for holidays.
The Southwest Georgia Legal Help Center, Inc. is right next door to the Law Library. The number there is 229-446-2750.
Using the library is free, except that users must pay a fee for copies and for legal forms packets. Copies are .15 per page, and legal forms packets are .25 per page. The price per packet may change as packets are revised. Citizens may download forms packets free from the Law Library website.
The librarian may assist users in finding legal information, but not with filling out forms. The librarian is not permitted to give legal advice to users.
