Jackson Heights Fitness and Wellness Center
Jackson Heights Fitness & Wellness Center offers a variety of exercise options including free weights, nautilus equipment, treadmills, stationary bikes, elliptical machines, and a variety of exercise classes. The exercise component is combined with seminars on proper nutrition and diet, weight management, and disease prevention for an emphasis on the total wellness of an individual.

7 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. & 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. (M - Th)
7 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. & 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. (F)
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (Sat.)
Membership: There is no membership fee, but a membership application must be completed. Membership is for adults ages 18 and older. Those ages 13-17 are welcome to join, but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and supervised at all times. Jackson Heights Fitness & Wellness Center membership application.
Location: Jackson Heights Fitness and Wellness Center is located at 1100 N. Jordan Location, adjacent to C.W. Heath Park. From the Liberty Bypass, exit south on Blaylock. Go past Flint Equipment; turn left on E. 4th Ave. and continue until it ends at Jordan Street.

LifeTrail is a recreation program specifically designed to meet the needs of older adults. In a nutshell, the system incorporates a series of ten outdoor wellness stations located along a walking path. Using the LifeTrail system is fun, social, and great exercise. The LifeTrail System at Jackson Heights Fitness & Wellness Center is located in the back of the facility and is open from dawn until dusk. You may access through the center or use the back gate.
Rise to the Challenge: Operation Fit Hearts - The main goal of this program is cardiovascular fitness. Held on Tuesday and Friday from 7 am - 9 am or 9 am - 11 am
Coffee with Conversation - Monday & Friday from 7:30 am - 9:00 am; $2.00 per week fee.
Introduction to a Healthy Lifestyle - This program is dedicated to special needs participants with basic, but essential exercises. Thursdays from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm.
Boxercise Bootcamp - An introduction to the basics of boxing concepts and principles along with simple advice on healthy eating. Monday, Wednesday, & Friday at 8:00 am - 10:00 am,
Raised Bed Gardening - The goal of this program is learning how to maintain your very own raised bed vegetable garden. Fridays from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm and Wednesdays from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm.
