  • The Mission of the Dougherty County Small Business Office is to ensure equal opportunity in all procurement activities. The policies apply to any procurement generated by revenues of all federal, state, and local general/special funds. Dougherty County shall not discriminate on the basis or race, color, national origin, or sex in award, administration, and performance of any County assisted contract or in the administration of its Small Business Program.

    Doughtery County Administration will provide:

    For the investigation by the SBO regarding all legations of discrimination by persons or entities that do business with the County.

    For hearings regarding allegations of discrimination.

    For sanctions for finding of discrimination; and implement policies that are designed to increase the utilization of Small Business within Dougherty County and the twenty-nine county Service Delivery Region.
